"The wines of the Alentejo are unique and are of an exceptional quality. This distinctive quality is the result of an ecosystem that is very well suited to the production of wine, where the careful combination of the traditional native grape varieties of the Region, famous for their great oenological richness and originality, plays an important role in one of the most sustainable agricultures in Europe. These indigenous grape varieties are a heritage of the Region and a secular legacy, and are important for a wine production that is based on the sophisticated and demanding art of blending that Portugal and the Alentejo Region master to perfection. We should highlight, as a vital contribution to the high end quality of the wines, the modern and sophisticated technology that, nowadays, the vast majority of wineries in the Alentejo have.
The Region is characterised by hot and dry summers that provide excellent maturation conditions. Therefore the wines are produced from grapes with high levels of sugars and so have a good alcoholic content, are full-bodied, with a good intensity of fruit and a rich colour. They are young wines, smooth and with a balanced acidity. Enoforum invests in a line of modern wines, which are very pleasant in the mouth and have very exclusive flavours and aromas, the result of using native grape varieties.
Having as goal to built strong international wine brands, nowadays Enoforum has its wines present in numerous countries. If you live or are visiting countries so different and distant as Holland, United States, Poland, Brazil, Russia, Canada, China, Angola, Mozambique, Singapore or Malaysia, we invite you to taste and enjoy our wines, which are most certainly available in a restaurant or store near you."
